Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. How billing works

Subscriptions are billed per product on a recurring basis (monthly, or annually where offered). Payments are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record — Paddle is the seller of record, issues your invoices/receipts and handles applicable taxes. Your order confirmation and payment records come from Paddle.

2. Free plan & trial

The Free plan is available at no cost. Paid plans include a 14-day trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged. No card is required to start monitoring on Free.

3. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Billing → Manage subscription in the app, which opens your Paddle customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the current paid period, after which it does not renew and you are not charged again. Downgrades and plan changes are also handled there and are prorated by Paddle.

4. Refunds

Because you can try paid features free for 14 days and cancel anytime, subscription fees already charged are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or granted at our discretion (for example, a clear billing error or a service failure on our side). To request a refund, contact hello@cravault.io with your Paddle order reference; approved refunds are issued through Paddle to the original payment method.

5. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have. Where consumer-withdrawal rights apply, they are honoured in addition to the above. The precise wording for EU consumer withdrawal on digital services will be finalised in legal review.

6. What happens to your data after cancelling

You can export your evidence at any time. After cancellation there is a read-only export window before deletion, or you can keep your vault read-only with the optional Archive plan. See the Trust page for the full lifecycle.

7. Disputes & chargebacks

If something looks wrong on an invoice, please contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly. Raising a chargeback before contacting us may lead to suspension while the dispute is handled by Paddle.
